The end of cancer begins with research. 

​

This intimate, cocktail event promises to be a night you’ll never forget with extraordinary cuisine, lively entertainment and the opportunity to fund critical, lifesaving cancer research.

 

Proceeds fund high-impact and innovative cancer research conducted by promising scientists and health care professionals. Since 2015, Advancing the Breakthrough has funded 15 investigators and raised more than $5 million dollars towards innovative cancer research.

The CEOs Against Cancer Greater Philadelphia Chapter is pleased to announce that funds from the 2022 and 2023 Advancing the Breakthrough will be funding a large Research Scholar Grant at Fox Chase Cancer Center, with the focus on treatment of advanced stage/relapsed Hodgkin Lymphoma. This research is being conducted by Yibin Yang, PhD.

 

The American Cancer Society’s research investments play a pivotal role in the cancer research space – advancing what we know about what causes cancer and how best to prevent, detect, and treat the disease. Now more than ever, it is clear the world needs advances in research. We need scientists with big ideas and bright minds. We need life-saving treatments, early detection, and prevention.
